Rajasthan Government to Host MOU Signing Ceremony on 23rd January, 2023

Continuing the Invest Rajasthan Campaign; the Rajasthan Government is organizing MOU Signing Ceremony in Jaipur on 23rd January 2023 for investment of approx. Rs. 1.36lakh crore in the State. The ceremony will be presided over by the hon’ble Chief minister Shri. Ashok Gehlot. The Minister of Industries & Commerce, Government of Rajasthan, Smt. Shakuntla Rawat, Shri. Vishvendra Singh, Minister of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and Shri Bhanwar Singh Bhati, Minister of State for Power (Independent Charge), Government of Rajasthan will be present for the occasion.

The MoU for 26 projects from Renewable Energy and Tourism sectors will be signed at the ceremony. This will be generating as many as 13000 direct and indirect jobs in the State.

Smt. Shakuntla, Minister of Industries and Commerce says, “Government of Rajasthan is committed to create sustainable partnerships with investors for the growth of the state. Invest Rajasthan campaign is helping us to collaborate with stakeholders and fulfill our promises.

Smt. Veenu Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary Industries & Commerce Government of Rajasthan said, “Rajasthan has recently done its Invest Summit and the response from the industries has been overwhelming. This MOU signing will be a next step to take our commitments further. We are dedicated to provide a conducive and hassle-free environment for setting up of projects in the state.”
The state government in past few years has been easing the setting up of the businesses process in the state by introducing One Stop Shop (OSS), Sector specific policies like NRR Policy 2022, Handicraft Policy 2022, MSME Policy 2022 and the Rajasthan Start-up Policy 2022, Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion Policy 2022; Rajasthan Tourism Policy 2020; Rajasthan Agri Business Policy 2019. Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2022 has been launched recently which has widened the scope of RIPS – 2019.
