Jaipur, 14th June 2023: Godrej Locks & Architectural Fittings and Systems (GLAFS), a renowned flagship brand of Godrej & Boyce, partnered with Jaipur Police to conduct an impactful home safety awareness drive, urging citizens to prioritize safety of their home. Announced on 15th November in honour of Home Safety Day, the ‘Live Safe, Live Free’ program aims at promoting home safety awareness across 52 locations, emphasizing Godrej’s unwavering commitment to quality and safety.
As a part of this initiative, Godrej Locks actively interacted with the residents of Jaipur, and offered complimentary home safety check-ups. In an endeavour to equip people with essential knowledge on home safety, the brand set-up safety booths across housing societies. These booths served as a medium to dispense expert advice on home maintenance, comprehensive evaluations of home safety, and effective measures to prevent theft. Mr. Dinesh Kumar (Senior Head Office) Shyam Nagar police station, accompanied by a seasoned safety expert from the brand, imparted invaluable knowledge on the importance of home safety and addressed the concerns of attendees.
Jaipur plays a pivotal role as a key market for Godrej Locks, and the brand is steadfast in its mission to attain a remarkable 22% revenue growth in the state of Rajasthan during this fiscal year. Presently, the state contributes approximately 3% to the brand’s overall revenue.
