H.G. Infra’s commendable effort towards environmental protection: Planting of 13,500 saplings in Hingonia Gaushala, Jaipur

Jaipur, 21 February 2025: HG Foundation, the philanthropic arm of HG Infra Engineering Limited, launched a plantation drive of 13,500 saplings using the Miyawaki method at Hingonia Gaushala in Jaipur under its Green Drive Project to protect the environment and promote biodiversity.

This project is being implemented by the Innovative Governance Reforms Federation (IGRF) in collaboration with HG Foundation. These saplings will be protected and cared for for two years, which will develop into a dense forest, strengthen the environmental balance and enrich the biodiversity of the area.

Shri Jawan Singh, Senior Executive CSR, HG Foundation, informed that,

Under the “HG Green Drive”, 1,00,000 saplings were successfully planted on 5 June 2024 (World Environment Day). This year, the Foundation has expanded its efforts to cover 1,10,000 trees, starting with this World Environment Day. This initiative will contribute significantly in greening the arid landscape of the region, promoting water conservation and providing oxygen and shade.

Reiterating the environmental commitment of the organization, Mrs. Anusia Vyas, Director, Innovative Governance Reforms Federation (IGRF) said,

“Our organization is fulfilling its responsibility towards environmental protection and green future with full devotion. Tree plantation at Hingonia Gaushala is not just a project but a long-term resolution that will provide clean and rich ecosystem to the coming generations. Our efforts towards nature and society will continue.”

Premanand Prabhu Ji, Coordinator of Hingonia Gaushala, praised this initiative and said,

“Gaushala is not just a shelter for cows but a complete ecosystem, where animals, plants and humans together maintain the balance of nature. This plantation will not only create a shady and clean environment for the cattle, but will also prove to be helpful in increasing the fertility of the land and conserving water. This step taken by H.G. Infra is definitely an important effort towards a green future.”

Dr. Radheshyam Meena, Deputy Director of the Veterinary Hospital of Hingonia Gaushala, underlined the usefulness of the Miyawaki method and said,

“Tree plantation by Miyawaki method is a very effective way of environmental conservation, through which dense and rich forests can be developed in a very short time. This initiative will not only make the Gaushala premises green, but will also preserve the local biodiversity. I thank H.G. Foundation and Innovative Governance Reforms Federation for this important initiative, which will bring a big environmental change in the coming years.”

People of the local community also participated enthusiastically in the program and took an oath to make this tree plantation campaign a success. The plants planted under this project will be maintained in a planned manner so that it keeps the area green for a long time. This initiative will not only increase the greenery in the Gaushala premises but will also set a green example for the entire area.
