Keeping in view the increasing stress and pressure of modern life, the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in collaboration with Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Heartfulness Institute, the yoga and meditation programme called “Har Dil Dhyan, Har Din Dhyan” as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav begun on Friday at the Sports Ground of the Rajasthan University. This three-day free yoga festival is being organized in collaboration with the country’s leading AU Small Finance Bank and Rajasthan University. Thousands of people and students participated in the Yoga Mahotsav. On the first day of Yoga Mahotsav, Chairman of Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation (RAJSICO) and Rajasthan Export Promotion Council (REPC), Mr. Rajeev Arora; Rajasthan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajeev Jain; Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Naresh Malik also participated.
The day one of Yoga Mahotsav wàs focused on Meditation and Overcoming Hypertension, Exams on Fear, Anxiety, Focus, Memory, Heartfulness Meditation, Brighter Mind Modern Technology, Wisdom Bridge and Yoga, Asanas, Pranayama and Mudras. Sukhasana, Virabhadrasana and Tribhuja asanas were done as part of the asanas. The activities ended with the practice of yogic breathing and Bhastrika in Pranayama and Gyan Mudra and Prana Mudra. On this occasion, some children performed Brighter Mind activity by reading a book with blindfold eyes and identifying colors in front of the participants present.

It is noteworthy that on Saturday, March 18, on the second day of the Yoga Festival, asanas, pranayama and mudras related to high blood pressure and weight control will be conducted. Tadasana, Triyak Tadasana and Katichkrasan asanas for controlling high blood pressure, while Nadishodhan, Sheetli will be done under Pranayama. Similarly, Utkatasana and Surya Namaskar will be done under the asanas related to weight control, while Kapalbhati and Bhramari, Surya Mudra and Hridaya Mudra will be done under Pranayama.
Similarly, on Sunday, March 19, the last day of the Yoga Festival, asanas, pranayama and mudras related to diabetes and thyroid control will be conducted. On this day cycling, Hastapadasana, Ardha Chakrasan, Ardha Kati Chakrasan and Mandukasan will be done while Singh Kriya and Agnisar Pranayama will be done under Pranayama. Similarly, Apan Mudra and Shoonya Mudra will be done.Apart from Jaipur and Sikar, in collaboration with AU Foundation dedicated to social concern, this type of yoga festival will be organized till August 15 in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur, Sagwara, Alwar, Bharatpur, Kota, Ajmer, Bhilwara, etc. in different cities. In which a total of more than 1 lakh people will participate.
This series of Heartfulness Yoga and Meditation programs is being organized to help you discover inner peace, joy and holistic well-being on an individual and community level. Specially focused on mental health, these programs include many yoga and meditation programs under the guidance of Mr. Kamlesh Patel, founder of Heartfulness Institute and President of Shri Ramchandra Mission. Taking forward the thinking of ‘Change is with us’, AU Small Finance Bank is helping to bring about the necessary changes for social welfare through this program.
Organized with the active participation of the University of Rajasthan, this Yoga Festival will give immense benefits to the students of the University. Under this programme, along with practical exercises of asanas, pranayama, mudras, beneficial for blood pressure, obesity, diabetes etc., practical exercises for depression, stress management, heartfulness based meditation for increasing concentration and self-confidence will be conducted on all three days. The Yoga Mahotsav will also showcase the effective techniques of Brighter Minds for the mental development of young children.
